Our Stage IV CNC head work is our most popular head work available for stock heads.
This head work is extremely extensive, and consists of welding and reshaping of the port floors for higher air speeds, keeping the fuel in suspension as it enters the combustion chamber for excellent power and throttle response.
Once the CNC porting programs are complete, valve seats are blended with the ports & combustion chambers. New valve guides are installed along with new valves then topped off with a high flowing full radius valve job. Valve to valve clearance is set for your cam.
Combustion chamber volume is measured and the heads are surfaced for your desired compression.
Cylinder heads are cleaned and new valve guide seals installed. New spring packs with titanium retainers are installed & set for the cam being used.
This package is legendary for revving extremely fast and carrying out all the way through the rpm range.
Note: Be sure to check piston to valve clearance when R&R pistons are not being used.
